What's cooking in the Studio today....

Sea Life. As promised, we are rolling in the old favorites -- the classics... gorgeous works of nature simply soldered to an antique bottle. Keepsakes of summer. It doesn't need more than that to evoke all the warm images and sounds of a day at the shore...

The warm sand underneath your feet ... the sound of the gulls crying above the rolling waves...

The sound of the water lapping at the boats tied to the pier... the magical beauty seen in the iridescence of glass turned to smooth jewels by the relentless waves

The mesmerizing textures along the outside of an abalone shell -- who would ever think it housed such a smooth and spectacular showing of iridescence inside of it?

The sun and sand - with the warmth of the benevolent early summer sun washing over you as you hunt for shells along the long strip of tawny sand...

Treasures everywhere...

Gorgeous, mysterious gems of the deep...

Not a care in the world. Living in the moment, wrapped within the tawny arms of summer.

I hope that is what our classic sea life collection evokes in you. Take a peek at some of the classics rolling into the sea life section today through the weekend -- close your eyes and picture the best of summer ... I hope these bottles take you to that dreamy place -- the place that only summers at the shore... lazy day at the beautiful beach... can take you.

In addition, watch for our newer collections Classics with a twist, and... the enchanted classics... which have been put in the shop, some of our retailers, and now I am busy making them for the online shop. With Spring on the horizon, which means summer on its heels, a dose of that sun and fun is needed, I think, for those of you still buried in snow, I hope this was a nice break.
